Applying for KAS Grants
2027 KAS Research Grant Applications will be due November 15, 2026.
Beginning with 2027 grants, we will be giving preference to applications originating from institutions that are primarily focused on undergraduate teaching. We believe this is in keeping with the original wishes of the donor. KAS Members at research institutions are still welcome to apply.
The 12 month grant period for 2026 grants begins March 1, 2026*
*We apologize that we were delayed in notifying awardees. Grant recipients will have 12 months to spend funds from the date of notification and we will extend the reporting deadline accordingly.
Please familiarize yourself with the Terms and Conditions for all KAS Grants
